BOOKING, CANCELLATION & TRAINING POLICY

Firstly, thank you for considering me to be part of your nail journey.

Choosing training is a big investment, both financially and personally, and I never take that responsibility lightly. I want you to feel completely confident before booking, so every booking starts with a conversation.

I’m a real person, not an automated booking system. If you have any questions at all, please ask. I’d much rather spend time helping you choose the right class than have you book something that isn’t quite right for you.

Before You Book

Before accepting your booking, I will always discuss your goals, experience and suitability for the class.

I will make every effort to ensure the course is appropriate for your current skill level and future plans.

It’s equally important that you are happy the class is right for you, that you’re available for the dates and that you’re comfortable with the commitment involved.

Please don’t feel rushed into booking. Ask as many questions as you need.

How to Book

I do not currently offer automated online booking.

All bookings are made personally with me.

Once we’ve agreed your class, you will receive:

  • A booking confirmation

  • Your enrolment information

  • Any relevant pre-course information

  • A secure payment link

  • Details of any kit requirements

  • Payment plan information (if applicable)

Booking Fee

A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your place.

Your place is not confirmed until this booking fee has been received.

The booking fee covers administration, course preparation and reserving your place, and is therefore non-refundable except where required by law.

In many cases, the booking fee also forms part of your overall course fee rather than being an additional charge.

Course Fees

Unless otherwise agreed, all remaining course fees must be paid no later than 14 days before your class begins.

For courses delivered over several sessions, payment is due 14 days before the first training date.

If payment has not been received by the due date, I reserve the right to cancel your booking.

Payment Plans

Many of my longer beginner programmes and larger workshops can be paid for using an agreed payment plan.

Payment plans are arranged individually and confirmed in writing before training begins.

By accepting a payment plan, you agree to make payments on the agreed dates.

If you experience any financial difficulty, please let me know as soon as possible. I’m always happy to discuss options where I can, but I can only help if I know what’s going on.

No certificates, qualifications or accreditation paperwork will be issued until all outstanding balances have been paid in full.

Cancellations

If you cancel more than 14 days before your course starts:

  • Your booking fee will be retained.

  • Any additional course fees already paid will be refunded.

If you cancel within 14 days of your course:

  • The full course fee remains payable.

  • Any payments already made will be retained.

  • Any outstanding balance will still be due.

This is because it is extremely difficult to fill specialist training places at short notice.

Transfers

As a general rule, bookings are not transferable.

However, life happens.

Where circumstances genuinely warrant it and my diary allows, I may offer an alternative date entirely at my discretion.

Transfers are never guaranteed, but I will always try to help wherever reasonably possible.

Workshops, Bootcamps & Long-Term Payment Plans

Places on bootcamps, retreats and specialist workshops are often reserved many months in advance.

Monthly payments made towards these events are treated as part of your booking fee and reservation of your place.

If you choose to withdraw, payments already made are generally non-refundable due to the significant planning involved.

Kits & Products

Where training includes products or kits:

  • Kit contents will always be explained before purchase.

  • Kit costs will be shown separately where applicable.

  • Opened, personalised or used kits cannot be refunded unless faulty.

  • Product purchases are subject to your statutory consumer rights.

Accreditation & Assessments

Where a course is accredited, I will explain:

  • Any prerequisites

  • Required theory work

  • Practical assessments

  • Case studies

  • Portfolio requirements

  • Assessment criteria

Please note that accredited courses are not guaranteed passes.

Every student learns differently.

Some students complete their qualification immediately, whilst others benefit from additional practice or further case studies.

My aim is always to help every student reach the required standard—not simply to complete training in the shortest possible time.

Individual Learning

Every learner is different.

Even within the same class, students may receive different feedback, different amounts of practice or different case study requirements.

Please don’t compare your learning journey with someone else’s.

Everything I ask you to complete is intended to help you become the safest, most confident and most competent nail professional possible.

Support

Learning doesn’t stop when the class finishes.

I encourage students to ask questions before, during and after training wherever appropriate.

If something doesn’t make sense, ask.

If you’re nervous, tell me.

If you’re struggling, let me know.

I’m here to help.

Feedback

I genuinely welcome feedback.

If there’s something you’ve loved, I’d love to hear it.

If there’s something you think could be improved, I’d like to hear that too.

Constructive feedback helps me continue improving my classes and gives future students the very best learning experience possible.

Policies

Please also read the following before attending your training:

  • Inclusivity Policy

  • Student Code of Conduct

  • Privacy Policy

By booking your course, you confirm that you have read and accepted these policies together with these Booking, Cancellation & Training Terms.

A Final Word

I’m incredibly proud that most of my bookings come through recommendations and returning students.

I believe in treating people fairly, being approachable and finding solutions wherever possible.

While these terms are here to protect both of us, my approach has always been simple:

Talk to me.

If something unexpected happens, let me know as soon as possible. I can’t promise I can always change things, but I can promise I’ll always listen and do my best to help.

ACCESSIBILITY

I understand that every student learns differently.

Where reasonably possible, I will always do my best to accommodate individual learning needs or reasonable adjustments. If there is anything that may help make your learning experience more comfortable or accessible, please let me know before your training begins so we can discuss how I can best support you.

As my classes are taught from a home-based studio, some adjustments may be limited by the layout of the property. However, I will always do my best to work with you to find a suitable solution wherever reasonably possible.
